Winners at the Bestof Solihull Business Of The Year Awards 2017
Local businesses get together to celebrate their success on Wednesday 1st March 2017 at Hogarths Hotel with an evening of entertainment and awards.
The occasion was to acknowledge the achievements of local businesses in the Bestof Business of the year awards, a national campaign entered into by thousands of businesses large and small from all categories up and down the country. Which is a great opportunity for those businesses to measure themselves against similar enterprises nationally.
Businesses are judged on the number of positive verified reviews they receive from their customers with both National and local winners.
The evening is an opportunity to recognise the hard work and dedication to customer service these businesses have devoted to their customers over the last 12 months.
Simon Foster local accomplished guitarist and musician started the programme of entertainment for the evening with a range of excellent cover versions.
Whilst stunning and astounding the audience with his incredible card tricks local magician Damon Conlan was a huge hit.
The awards are run annually by marketing and support organisation thebestof which is committed to raising the profile of local, independent businesses nationally. The competition was based on customer reviews and the local winners were members of thebestofSolihull owned by John and Ann Alldrick.
Helping bring the whole evening together and adding a touch of theatre to the event, 'Toastmaster' Richard Jackson, announced the winners of the awards.
The Solihull Business of the Year award for the second year running went to -1 who also achieved a first nationally in their category of car repairs and servicing which was a fantastic achievement.

Second place was awarded to Maxine Moseley Skin Clinic who also achieved a first place nationally in the Beauty sector with third place in Solihull being awarded to Richard Cooke and the team at Shirley Aquatics.
Other finalist included DMS - Heart Of England Music Academy, Inter X Therapist, Restell Roofing , TropicJus and TransformingU.
The evening marked the end of the last 12mths of hard work by members campaigning for the title of Business of the Year with the aim of the award to showcase those members who have shown outstanding service and commitment to their customers.
